Summer Celebration

We are on day two of Summer Celebration at CLC. This is Amy's last year (she's 10) and Evan's second year as helper. Evan is on the green team (Philippians) and Amy is on the Ephesians. They love Summer Celebration and I'm SO grateful to all the older kids who come back, year after year, to serve and make it possible for the younger ones. It's an amazing evidence of God's grace to see how much they love to serve at this Bible camp! Praise God!

Another school year completed!

7th grade is finished! Evan celebrated by having one of his friends, Elliot Lowe over for the afternoon. Here is Elliot, being his normal geeky self!

Ashley's Leaving

This picture was taken today. Ash is getting ready to go away for 2 months to Guatemala. We will miss her, but we know God will bless her efforts as she serves in an orphange there. We pray that God will richly bless you, Ash, and draw you closer to knowing Him in a way that will benefit you the rest of your life. We love you!

Decade Daughter

Amy is 10! What a sweet girl she is! She loves:

1. babies (she often serves as a mother's helper)
2. swimming
3. running with Dad or kicking a soccer ball around
4. swinging on our tree swing
5. reading Magic TreeHouse books
6. neatly arranging all her stuffed animals on her bed
7. baking (or anything using her hands!)

Here is the teapot birthday cupcake she made, complete with taffy handle and spout and plenty of sprinkles!

Even though she doesn't turn 10 until June 11th, Amy wanted to celbrate early before Ash leaves for Guatemala on June 5th. Here they are with the present Ash picked out for her. Sweet girlies!
